  1. Those are so pretty. I have been thinking about giving these a try becuase all the ones I have seen are so neat. Nothing like looking forward to a fabulous quilt in two years! =)

    so, you're basting them together (right?) then what? how are you going to connect them? by hand-stitching? and how do you make them?

  4. tiffanie: the individual hexagons are basted onto paper to construct them, but i have actually hand stitched them together (as you see above). all i need to do is remove the basting stitch on each hex and pull out the paper and the hexes will all keep their shape because they are now sewn together! (hmmm... i think i made that sound more complicated than it is.)

    i followed tutorials by the sometimes crafter and alicia paulson. they are very helpful!
